night on the town. still recovering.
gonna plug the new loves in my life… met some amazing people at Luckie – um, yea that would be the eatery/lounge on – you guessed it – luckie st downtown. it was a touch loud – all but forgiven after checking out the private club Play upstairs. A.May.Zing. the view, the light, the patio. producing ellie mae’s show there in May. omg. it is May
after the beauties at Luckie took wonderful care of us, headed to Bill Hallman to see the beautiful people. was NOT disappointed even in the slightest. lets start with Bill’s shop in VA Highlands. el & i were hanging with this so sensationally beautiful redhead photographer called jamie hopper … retail therapy and people watching… bliss. met kenny from 95.5fm – so gracious and lovely, even tho he wasn’t sure we were listeners…… : /
then spotted dionne mcgraw – okay, spotted her deconstructed ripped slashed web shirt and aqua pumps first, but then she turned around and it was love. she is so pretty and it turns out she designs the gold/rubber fusion bracelets *EVERYONE* there was wearing (including el. okay, everyone but me, but we all know i acknowledge my uncoolness. i might buy some, actually. cannot wait to see the antique gold version.) dionne needs to be our client, dying to help her with her branding/marketing materials. (couldn’t find a site to link to.. but Ben will help you find dionne’s collection – and anything else you want… he was a vision in white last night. you can’t miss him. he is the tall, smile for miles, great hair, beautiful, beautiful thing behind the counter at bill hallman.)
met a few others. blah blah. kenny invited us to his birthday party at whiskey park, so we headed over to the W. talked with the gorgeous foxy fox who runs sly fox creative by night and does something you would never guess by day… and dates the dj who was all over town. smiled and thought of my cheer babes when we met the (german!) producer who did “walk it out”. trying to find some lady hannah songs on youtube w/o much success… cute little english thing, needs new fotos fosho.
then. met the most stunning woman ever. ever, ever. ever, ever, ever, ever so gorgeous and even nicer than beautiful if that is humanly possible. turns out she is nathalie kelley, the peruvian actress. you must google just to see her.
